The Stiftung Leben im Alter Herisau is home to over 250 elderly people. At the three locations Heinrichsbad, Ebnet and Dreilinden, around 260 employees shape everyday life in our homes. Your demanding and varied tasks:
You will learn to accompany and support our residents in everyday life with heart, respect and empathy.
- We will show you step by step how to perform nursing and medical-technical tasks safely and professionally.
- You will be supported in attentively and professionally accompanying people even in challenging situations.
- You contribute to ensuring that our residents feel comfortable in a clean, well-kept and homely environment.
- Together with your team, you will get to know administrative and logistical tasks and gradually take on more responsibility.
Our requirements:
You have a good secondary school leaving certificate (G or E profile) and good German skills (at least level B2).
- You approach people openly and enjoy accompanying and supporting elderly people in their daily lives.
- You treat others with patience, respect and empathy – including people with dementia.
- You enjoy working with others, take responsibility and actively contribute to the team.
- You are helpful, attentive and willing to be there for our residents on weekends and public holidays.
