Machine Operator (M/F) M1 to M7

Mandated by one of our clients in the canton of Geneva, we are looking for the following profile

Machine Operator (M/F) M1 to M7

Your tasks:

• Drive and manoeuvre various construction machinery (excavators, loaders, rollers, etc.) according to current Swiss standards
• Carry out earthworks, levelling, excavations, backfilling and material handling
• Perform daily machine checks and report any anomalies (leaks, wear, malfunctions)
• Strictly apply safety rules (SUVA) and internal instructions on construction sites
• Work closely with the site manager and ground teams to ensure quality and respect deadlines
• Ensure basic maintenance of machinery (cleaning, greasing, minor first-level maintenance)
• Comply with environmental regulations (waste management, noise pollution, emissions)

Your profile:

• MANDATORY Holder of a machine operator certificate recognised in Switzerland (e.g. construction machine operator training, CFC in the construction field or an equivalent qualification)
• Knowledge of and compliance with SUVA standards and safety rules on Swiss construction sites
• Proven experience on Swiss construction sites or in an environment with similar standards
• Fluency in spoken French; any other local language (German, Italian) is an asset
