About the job
With the hotels Säntis, Hecht, and Löwen, we operate three different establishments in the center of Appenzell. The Hotel Säntis is located directly on the historic Landsgemeindeplatz, while the other houses are situated on the picturesque main street. We are an owner-managed business with around 50 employees who work across disciplines. - Reception and care of our hotel guests
- Check-in and check-out as well as processing reservations
- Accepting reservations for the restaurant
- General administrative tasks and correspondence
- Independent management of the daily cash register and daily closing
- Maintenance of online channels (website, OTAs & social media)
- Commercial basic training, experience in the hotel industry is an advantage
- Cheerful, natural appearance
- Teamwork and loyalty towards supervisors and colleagues
- Flexibility in everyday work, ability to keep a cool head even in hectic situations
- Confident German, very good English skills, French skills are an advantage
- Guest- and solution-oriented working style
- Confident handling of MS Office and ideally experience with hotel software (PMS)
