About the job

Your new job offers you an exciting and varied environment directly on the trading floor of BKB. In the Quantitative Analysis team, you work on conceptual and technical issues related to trading and take on responsibility with a lot of creative freedom in the further development of the trading business. You work closely with trading, bring in your own suggestions, and take responsibility for the successful implementation of solutions, from idea to implementation.

As part of the Quantitative Analysis team, you support the trading desks in continuously optimizing and simplifying their processes and competently assist them with analytical questions. Through our work, we make a significant contribution to the efficiency and further development of trading.

Your new job

• Development and implementation of new products, instruments, and processes in the trading environment
• Leadership and professional management of analysis and implementation projects
• Development of Python-based tools for data analysis, process optimization, and derivation of quantitative recommendations for action
• Analysis of new (especially regulatory) requirements, assessment of impacts, and development of recommendations for action
• Interface function between trading and IT – translating professional requirements into technical solutions
• Management of collaboration with internal departments as well as external service providers and suppliers

What we benefit from

• University degree (economics, financial mathematics, finance, or similar) with a quantitative focus
• Ability to analyze complex issues in a structured manner and translate them into actionable solutions
• Strong interest in financial markets, their products, and the trading environment
• Very good programming skills in Python as well as experience in building and further developing data-based solutions, high IT affinity
• Enjoyment of responsible tasks, flair for complex systems and interrelationships

• Relevant professional experience in a comparable role in the trading or financial environment
