On behalf of our client, a leading software, cloud, and IT service provider in Switzerland, we are looking to strengthen the IT team with an experienced Senior ICT System Engineer Infrastructure & Azure Cloud (m/f).

- Shape projects: Together with architects and project managers, you work on the conception and implementation of customised IT solutions and accompany customers throughout the entire project cycle.
- Cloud and on-premise expertise: You conduct workshops in the M365 and Azure environment, design hybrid architectures, and realise demanding migrations and modernisations.
- Support & operations: You take on 2nd-level support, solve complex technical challenges, and are the central contact person for change and incident management.
- Technical responsibility: You act as the responsible engineer for customer environments and work closely with service delivery and other teams.
- Documentation & further development: You maintain technical documentation and actively contribute to the continuous optimisation and further development of IT landscapes.
- Several years of experience as a senior system engineer in complex IT environments
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure) as well as on-premise and hybrid infrastructures (Windows Server, virtualisation, storage, network)
- Experience in conducting workshops and projects as well as in change and incident management
- High service orientation, independent and structured working style, and strong team spirit
- Fluent German skills (C2) and very good English skills (B2)
- Certifications in the Microsoft environment are an advantage
- Driving licence category B

Responsibilities
- Take responsibility: You plan, implement, and operate complex IT infrastructures both on-premises and in the Microsoft Cloud, ensuring the highest availability, security, and performance.- Shape projects: Together with architects and project managers, you work on the conception and implementation of customised IT solutions and accompany customers throughout the entire project cycle.

Profile
- Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ with a focus on system technology or platform development, ideally supplemented by specialised further training (e.g. HF or FH)- Several years of experience as a senior system engineer in complex IT environments
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure) as well as on-premise and hybrid infrastructures (Windows Server, virtualisation, storage, network)
- Experience in conducting workshops and projects as well as in change and incident management
