Our specialized EY-Parthenon (EY-P) team in the Financial Services sector supports our clients from the financial industry in complex, transaction-related corporate finance topics, especially with valuations, financial modeling, and data analysis. Advance your career in a versatile and interesting environment and help our clients navigate due diligence, mergers & acquisitions, company valuation, and strategy analysis. To further strengthen our team, we are looking for you as an intern (100% for 6 months).

• From day one, you will work in a diverse team with experienced colleagues. Coaching by your team helps you further develop your technical know-how and soft skills;
• You primarily assist in preparing financial analyses (Financial Due Diligence) on target companies to provide clients with important insights for strategic investment decisions;
• You support various projects in mergers & acquisitions, company valuation, and strategic corporate development;
• You assist with marketing presentations, research, and market analyses;
• You have the unique chance to gain deep insights into the businesses of national and international companies from various industries and continuously expand your knowledge through diverse tasks, cross-functional assignments, and various training opportunities.

What you bring — skills with which you shape the future

• You have completed or are about to complete a master’s degree in economics or a STEM field (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), preferably with a focus or minor in corporate finance, accounting, and/or strategy;
• You have a strong interest in corporate transactions, strategic issues, and the financial services sector and ideally have already gained initial experience in these areas;
• You possess strong analytical skills combined with clear expression and communication enthusiasm;
• Advanced Excel skills; knowledge in processing and visualizing large data sets (e.g., with Python or PowerBI) is an advantage;
• Good communication and presentation skills in German and English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of French and/or other European languages is an advantage;
• Open-minded, humorous, and dynamic personality with an independent working style.
