Senior Infrastructure Project Manager

About the job

The Senior Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering IT projects with an infrastructure component.

He/she ensures the quality, deadlines, and costs of projects while ensuring compliance with methodological standards, security requirements, and internal governance.

The role involves strategic coordination with internal and external stakeholders, as well as managerial support for project teams.

Master's degree or EPF engineering degree in computer science or equivalent.

Proven experience of at least 5 years in IT project management, ideally in complex infrastructure environments.

Recognised project management certification (Hermès, PMI, IPMA) — a significant asset.

Strong leadership and ability to unite multidisciplinary teams.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Initiative, autonomy, and foresight.

Rigor, diplomacy, and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.

Service orientation and customer satisfaction focus.

Mastery of project management methodologies (Hermès, PMI, IPMA).

Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure projects (networks, databases, virtualisation, storage, security, IAM, etc.).

In-depth knowledge of budget management and project performance monitoring.

Excellent ability to define and monitor communication and change management plans.

Skills in risk management and quality assurance planning.

Ability to collaborate with expert technical teams and liaise with management and governance committees.

Ability to manage complex projects in hybrid or remote mode.

Good understanding of IT security issues (IAM, control frameworks, internal audit).

Mastery of human resource management in a project context.

Experience in managing cross-functional projects involving multiple technical domains.

Skills in facilitating steering committees and strategic reporting.

Experience in transformation towards agile models (DevOps, containerisation).

Experience in Cloud implementation or migration (Private, Hybrid, Public).

Experience in security and identity management (IAM).

Experience within a public or institutional administration.
