Your Tasks
Your main task is the care of patients in a mixed consultation of the departments of Oncology, Hematology, and Transfusion Medicine with a focus on hematological neoplasms, general hematology, hemostaseology, or patients with solid tumors, under specialist supervision. You gain experience in the entire spectrum of the field of Hematology or Oncology. You also participate in the consultation service. You attend interdisciplinary tumor boards and internal training sessions. After an induction phase, you participate in weekend duties. You are part of a 30-member team of doctors from the departments of Oncology, Hematology, and Transfusion Medicine. Through internal rotations, you also gain insights into palliative medicine, inpatient care of onco-hematological patients, and clinical research.
Your Profile
Your training goal is to become a specialist in Hematology FMH or Medical Oncology. Prior knowledge in internal medicine is desired.
