Job Description:
The Senior Structured Trade Finance (STF) Analyst will be a key member of the Structured Trade Finance department, reporting to the Head of STF Energy and Metals. His role is instrumental in evaluating longer-term structured transactions and supporting all stages of the deal lifecycle — from origination through execution. The analyst will be responsible for conducting in-depth risk assessments, financial analysis, and due diligence, while also coordinating internal approvals across Group executive committees. The position requires a strong understanding of structured finance principles, stakeholder management, and deal execution.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct financial analysis and review financial models, including DCF and scenario-based stress testing

Identify and assess key transaction risks, lead risk and due diligence analyses

Coordinate with internal departments (legal, credit, compliance, tax) and external advisors during due diligence

Analyze reserve report

Support in structuring deals to optimize funding terms, credit enhancement, and risk allocation

Prepare high-quality internal and external materials, including investment memos and board presentation

Analyze legal and financial structures, including collateral frameworks, waterfall mechanisms, and SPV arrangements

Support engagement with external stakeholders, including banks, insurers, and legal counsel

Support in the drafting, negotiation and execution of term sheets, financing agreements, and supporting documentation

Monitor and report on the performance of existing transactions, as needed
Profile
-
Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field

Min 8 years of experience in structured finance, project finance

Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; proficiency in Excel

Solid understanding of structured finance instruments, risk analysis, and legal documentation

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Experience working in commodities, energy, or metals sectors

Team Player

Fluent in English and French, other languages are a plus
