Sales Leader

Reporting directly to the CEO and serving as an active member of our management team, you will play a key role in implementing our commercial strategy, leading our international sales team and accelerating the company’s growth. You will act as the primary interlocutor for all sales‑related matters within the organization, work closely with our VP of Marketing, and represent the sales function at group level.
Region: St-Sulpice, VD.
Company: A fast-growing SME, BlueBotics SA is a world leader in autonomous navigation for automated industrial vehicles such as AGVs, automated forklifts, and mobile robots.
Engagement: 100% starting as soon as possible.
Languages: Full professional proficiency in English and French. Italian is a plus, and other languages are welcome.
Profile:
- Hybrid educational background with both commercial/management and technical foundations.
- Bachelor or higher degree in engineering or business administration.
- Proven ability to scale industrial, high-tech B2B revenues, ideally from single‑digit to double‑digit millions.
- 5+ years leading international sales teams, defining processes, and implementing performance systems (KPIs, cadence, CRM discipline, forecasting).
- Strong enterprise sales experience: key account prospecting & management; experience of long, technical cycles; structured account planning experience; strong familiarity with multi‑stakeholder decision processes.
- Experience managing global channel partners (distributors, resellers).
- Strong strategic thinking, planning, and problem‑solving skills.
- Sound, result-oriented and data‑driven decision‑making.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, effective at all organizational levels.
- Proficient with modern CRMs (Salesforce/HubSpot) to optimize team performance and drive revenue, and with ERP systems (ideally Microsoft Business Central) and Microsoft 365.
Job description:
Business & Strategy
- Drive strategic business development: prospecting, nurturing, converting and managing the world’s leading industrial vehicle & mobile robotics manufacturers.
- Serve as a strategic sparring partner to the CEO and group leadership on all matters related to growth and commercial direction.
- Collaborate closely with the VP of Marketing to strengthen brand awareness, boost lead generation, and enable our sales team to succeed.
Commercial Strategy
- Implement the company’s growth strategy to maximize revenue across all markets.
- Optimize customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
- Define and refine strategies for all sales channels (direct sales, distributors, digital).
Sales Planning Operations
- Manage, monitor, and continuously improve day‑to‑day sales operations.
- Deliver accurate, data‑driven sales forecasts.
Team Management & Optimization
- Lead and enhance the performance of our international sales team, including regular international travel (customer visits, trade shows, etc.).
- Train, mentor, and develop our team’s 5+ sales professionals.
- Manage and foster cross-functional collaboration to align account management efforts.
