Head of Corporate Security West 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

Our client, an important employer for the security of Switzerland with around 3000 employees, requires a Head of Corporate Security West. In this responsible position, you can expect the following tasks:

• Management and strategic development of the regional Safety & Security Organisation West across multiple locations

• Ensuring uniform company-wide standards in the areas of safety, security, crisis management and business continuity

• Planning and conducting safety inspections, risk analyses and audits with consistent follow-up of measures

• Responsibility for the entire emergency, crisis and incident management including the planning and execution of exercises

• Professional advice and support for managers in all matters of security, risk and crisis management

• Building and maintaining relationships with authorities, emergency services and relevant stakeholders

• Development and implementation of targeted awareness measures to promote a sustainable safety and risk culture within the company

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed higher education (HF/FH/University) or equivalent qualification in the field of security, risk management, facility management or business administration

• At least 5 years of leadership and professional experience in corporate security, crisis management or a comparable security organisation

• Proven experience in leading teams and managing decentralised units

• Comprehensive knowledge in the areas of physical security, occupational safety as well as risk, emergency and crisis management

• Practical experience in conducting audits, risk analyses and incident management

• Confident and professional handling of authorities, emergency services and various stakeholders

• Strong leadership and communication skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented working style

• High resilience, decisiveness and integrity - especially in challenging crisis situations

• Fluent German, good English skills (at least B2) as well as French skills
