About the job

The Department of Ageing and Care of the City of Winterthur trains around 120 apprentices in 7 different professions every year. Our training programmes are practical, varied, and open up many career opportunities for you. With us, you work in a lively, meaningful environment.

In the three-year basic vocational training as a Chef:Cook, you are responsible for preparing various meals.

Your Profile

Secondary school A or B with good grades

Enjoyment in handling food and cooking

Good sense of smell and taste

Resilience in hectic situations
