What to expect
- Setup, operation, and continuous improvement of our digital workplace solutions (e.g., Microsoft 365 environment, endpoint management for Windows, MacOS, iOS & Android, virtual desktops)
- Automation and optimization of workplace processes (e.g., automated client deployment, software distribution, endpoint security)
- Integration of new tools and technologies to improve collaboration and communication capabilities
- Ensuring high quality standards regarding stability, security, and user-friendliness of the workplace environment
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous optimization of the workplace platform
- Development and implementation of best practices in endpoint management, security, and collaboration
- Close collaboration with departments and teams to optimally implement requirements for the digital workplace
- Coordination with the infrastructure platform team and security to ensure secure and seamless integration of workplace solutions
- Proactive knowledge transfer to other team members to ensure operational support
- Support in planning and implementing strategic workplace projects
- Operation and further development of the workplace infrastructure, including client management systems, collaboration tools, and M365 services
- Proactive incident management to ensure continuous availability and performance
- Expansion of the workplace architecture regarding scalability, efficiency, and user-friendliness
What you bring
- At least 3 years of practical experience in workplace engineering, IT service management, or comparable environments
- Solid knowledge of workplace technologies (e.g., Microsoft 365, endpoint management solutions like Intune or other software distribution solutions)
- Experience with collaboration and communication tools such as Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, or comparable solutions
- Knowledge in endpoint security, Entra ID, client virtualization (VDI), or hybrid work environments
- Experience and interest in automation
- Familiarity with agile working methods (Scrum, Kanban) and enjoyment of cross-functional collaboration
- Strong analytical skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and high initiative
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment in providing technical support and advice to users and internal stakeholders
- High sense of responsibility for quality, user-friendliness, and security of systems
- Interest in exchange within the workplace community and motivation to regularly contribute innovative ideas to the team are advantageous
