Who we are
The City of Zurich Pension Fund (PKZH) is a leader in occupational pension provision. It manages assets of more than 24 billion CHF and insures the employees of the City of Zurich administration and affiliated companies. PKZH employs around 60 staff and is located at a central site near Stauffacher in Zurich.We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and numbers-oriented person studying for a bachelor’s degree. You will support the accounting department mainly with routine tasks, documentation, data quality, evaluations, and process improvements.

Tasks
• Support with operational routine tasks in accounting• Maintenance, control, and reconciliation of data, lists, and evaluations
• Assistance with documentation of processes and work instructions
• Support with Excel evaluations and data preparation
• Participation in process improvements and minor optimisation tasks
• Support with preparatory work for closing, audit, or budget process under guidance
Requirements
Your qualifications:• You are studying business economics with a focus on Financial Management or Accounting & Controlling and are at least in your 3rd semester
• Commercial basic training or higher school education
• Professional experience in financial accounting (general and subsidiary ledgers)
• Experience with accounting software (ideally Abacus)
• Ability to create and interpret key figures and evaluations
• Very good German skills, both spoken and written
Your personal qualities:
• Quick comprehension and agile thinking
• Precise, careful, and reliable working style
• Enjoyment of customer contact and strong service awareness
• Very good Excel skills and user knowledge of Microsoft 365
• Open, cooperative, and respectful communication
