In this role, you combine operational plant controlling with strategic business analysis and create transparency about production processes, cost structures, and value chains.
You act as an interface between manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, and finance and support management with reliable analyses and recommendations for action.
Your exciting tasks
- Execution and maintenance of standard cost and manufacturing cost calculations (Costing Runs)
- Analysis and coordination of price and quantity variances as well as production cost developments
- Support in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in the plant environment (valuations, provisions, allocations)
- Creation and further development of product cost and bill of materials calculations
- Building and maintaining reporting and BI structures for plant and production controlling
- Ensuring correct booking and tax coding in SAP
- Key user for SAP FI/CO and PP – close cooperation with IT and global locations
- Support in budget and forecast processes with a focus on productivity, COGS, and efficiency improvement
- Identification of process optimizations in collaboration with the plants and the Group Finance team
This is how you complement our team
- Completed studies in business administration, controlling, industrial engineering, or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in production or plant controlling in a manufacturing company
- Solid knowledge of SAP FI/CO and PP, ideally in SAP S/4 HANA
- Experience in standard costing, variance analysis, and operational cost management
- Confident handling of MS Excel, experience with Power BI or BW is an advantage
- Analytical, structured, and process-oriented thinking
- Strong communication skills and ability to work on equal footing with technical, purchasing, and finance departments
- Very good English and German skills
