About the job
‹Parsifal› at the Goetheanum
At Easter 2026, the curtain will rise for the fourth year on the production of Richard Wagner's ‹Parsifal› directed by Jasmin Solfaghari. In the first three years, the 950-seat hall was almost completely full each time.
This success and the positive response from both the audience and the specialist press led Alexander von Glenck, the producer of the production, to extend Wagner's stage consecration play into a fourth year. Remarkably, the opera reviews acknowledged and even appreciated the eurythmy as an expression of the Grail, spear, and swan, and as a means of making Wagner's music accessible to the eye. The gala performance with tenor Florian Vogt on Easter Sunday, 29 March, is sold out, but tickets in all categories are still available for the performances on 20 and 22 March. The director has also published the book ‹I hardly stride, yet I already imagine myself far: Parsifal at the Goetheanum› for the production.
This news also appeared in the weekly magazine ‹Das Goetheanum›.
