In our SGI-certified (2018 – 2023) Institute for Anesthesia & Intensive Care, we care for patients who are operated on at the Limmattal Hospital, are seriously ill, have suffered an accident, or require intensive medical care.
Together with the anesthesia nursing staff, our team performs over 8,800 sedations, general and regional anesthesias annually. On the interdisciplinary intensive care unit, we care for around 1,000 patients per year. The Institute for Anesthesia and Intensive Care provides over 18,000 anesthesia hours annually in the operating room and in the white zone. A modern, evidence-based anesthesia is practiced in all areas of anesthesia. The treatment of pain patients is also part of our service offering.
Here you will engage
- in the reception and care of patients
- in the preparation for the upcoming surgery
- in the handover from the shift leader
- in the responsibility for the correct and surgery-specific positioning of patients
- in operating the image intensifiers and medical technical devices
- in applying plaster casts and immobilization materials
- in working in a 3-shift operation
- in the re-establishment of operating tables and positioning aids
You
- ideally have completed vocational training as a qualified nursing professional HF, HF OT, or health specialist ideally with further training as a positioning expert, or are willing to complete this.
- ideally have several years of experience as an operating room positioning nurse
- are willing to work flexible hours
- are in good physical condition
- have good knowledge of medical terminology
- are a resilient, flexible, and team-oriented personality with a high customer orientation
- have very good German language skills, both spoken and written
- are proficient in using MS Office and clinical information systems
