Product Development Designer 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Development of various products in the bio and medtech sectors

• Support of the entire product development process from conception to series maturity

• Conducting functional tests and validation of the developed products

• Transfer of products into series production

• Close collaboration with electronics and software developers in an interdisciplinary team

• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation for all work steps

• Regular exchange and coordination with all involved stakeholders

What do I need to be successful?

• Technical training in mechanical engineering or design, for example as an engineer FH, technician HF, certified designer EFZ with appropriate further training or comparable qualification

• Several years of practical experience in mechanical design is more important than formal titles - you develop practical and manufacturable solutions

• Sound knowledge of materials technology and manufacturing processes

• Familiarity with processes in manufacturing companies, ideally with experience in series production

• Confident handling of 3D CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor

• Experience in creating technical documentation and manufacturing drawings as well as knowledge of ISO-GPS or willingness to familiarise yourself with this area

• Knowledge of FEM calculations

• Enjoyment in collaborating with customers, suppliers and production managers

• Business fluent German skills (Level C2) and very good English skills (Level C1)

• Flexible, communicative personality with creative and innovative approaches to problem solving as well as a winning demeanour
