Mike Schmid successfully completed his three-year studies to become a "Bachelor of Science in Building Services HLKS" (Heating-Ventilation-Air Conditioning-Sanitary) at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Looking back, he says: "It is a great feeling, but without the support of family, friends and the company Geiger AG, it would not have been possible." Since 2010, Mike has been a team member in our company. Throughout his entire training period, we were able to accompany him and get to know and appreciate him as a committed employee.

2010 – 2013 Apprenticeship as Sanitary Installer EFZ

2013 – 2015 Additional Apprenticeship as Building Services Planner Sanitary EFZ

2017 – 2020 Further training as Technician TS Sanitary HF

2021 – 2024 Engineering Studies at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts

Mike has acquired a broad expertise with a lot of diligence and perseverance. The crowning achievement is an outstanding thesis, which he wrote together with Joel Märki on the topic of water heating. The two were rewarded with the grade 6.

We are happy for him and wish him continued exciting tasks in his professional life.
