Attached to the Department of Medicine , the dermatology and venereology service provides diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients with diseases of the skin, mucous membranes, and appendages, including sexually transmitted diseases, taking into account the services provided by other HUG departments.
Job Description
As part of the RESCUE PATCH clinical study, evaluating an innovative cell therapy treatment developed within the institution: TrophiPatch, you will participate as an expert in cell production work, as well as research, on a treatment intended for severe wounds. This cell therapy, developed from human stromal cells, produces a complex set of biological factors necessary for healing, particularly revascularization.
In collaboration with the research assistant, you will ensure the planning, supervision, and regulatory compliance of the production of the cell therapy product (TrophiPatch), within a GMP (Good Medical Practice) certified environment.
You coordinate validation and research work related to the production of TrophiPatch.
You participate in the development and optimization of production processes.
Qualifications
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field or biology.
You have at least 5 years of research experience.
Experience in cell therapy or treatment is an asset, as is knowledge of the associated specific regulations.
While having a good sense of organization and priorities, you are autonomous, rigorous, and precise in the tasks assigned to you.
Finally, you demonstrate a strong sense of confidentiality.
You have perfect command of French, both spoken and written, and a good knowledge of English.
Additional Information
You will work day, night, and weekend shifts according to the service’s needs.
