About the job
At the end of September, it was time for the CAPcargo internal team and training week. Team members from eight different countries travelled to Karpen, Albania.
Online meetings are now the usual means of communication, also at CAPcargo. This is a great technology, but nothing replaces direct, personal exchange. That is why such gatherings are particularly important. This year on the coast of Albania. Climate change not only affects global logistics; the team tried to avoid air travel to Albania as much as possible. Thus, the Swiss team travelled by train and ferry via Bari and Durrës to Karpen. A long journey, but also a good time for exchange and being together.
Getting to know each other better was one of the top priorities, but there was also time for learning and cross-team exchange. Working on common goals in a different atmosphere helped to improve in many areas.
Karpen was definitely a good experience. Inspired and with many impressions (and slightly tired), the journey back home began on Thursday afternoon.
