As the Building Inspectorate within the Office for Building Permits, we ensure an efficient and competent processing of building applications according to building, planning and environmental law – with solution-oriented advice and review. Do you enjoy working in close collaboration with your three teams (building permits, building control, legal office), act pragmatically, reliably and responsibly depending on the situation – and keep an overview even with complex projects? Then you are a perfect fit for us!Your Tasks
- Organisational, personnel and strategic management of the Building Inspectorate with its three team leaders and deputy management of the Office for Building Permits
- Ensuring the processing of building permit procedures and submission of applications to the city council's building committee
- Drafting co-reports for city council consultations
- Project management or participation in specialist projects
- Participation in specialist committees and boards
Your Profile
- Completed university or university of applied sciences degree in architecture, spatial planning, civil engineering or equivalent qualification
- Private sector practical and project experience with many years of leadership responsibility
- Experience in building, planning and environmental protection law
- Strong communication skills in dealing with various project participants and different stakeholder groups
- High level of service and solution orientation
- Distinctive networked thinking
