A University Assistant at IUFRS
The University Institute for Training and Research in Care (IUFRS) is looking for a University Assistant at a workload of 80% to 100% to complete its team. The starting date is scheduled for July 1, 2026, or to be agreed upon. This position is under the responsibility of Dr. Sc. Jenny Gentizon, MER 1.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
Since its creation in Lausanne in 2007, IUFRS has contributed to meeting these challenges. It allows nurses from French-speaking Switzerland and beyond to pursue their academic training in nursing sciences (Master and Doctorate) and to exercise clinical and scientific leadership (advanced nursing practice). It is committed to research to develop innovative, effective, and efficient clinical practices.
To fulfill its mission, IUFRS maintains a dense network of institutional, scientific, and clinical partnerships at local, regional, national, and international levels.
The research program of Dr. Sc. Jenny Gentizon aims to improve medication safety in various care contexts, with a patient-centered approach. It is based on three axes: self-management and medication literacy, prevention of medication-related problems, and development of nursing expertise in pharmaceutical care.

Profile
- You hold a Master’s degree in nursing sciences, a Master’s degree in specialized nursing practice, or an equivalent qualification
- You have professional experience in nursing care
- You have teaching experience, desired
- You have experience in qualitative and/or quantitative research, desired
- You are proficient in French and English.
