About the job
Tasks
- Analysis of how group-wide components in the area of claims/motor vehicles can be implemented in Switzerland
- Development of the architecture of group components for use in Switzerland
- Specification of local adjustments and changes
- Technical guidance and support of developers
- Coordination and harmonisation of local adjustments with relevant stakeholders
- Ensuring appropriate quality measures
- Collaboration within an international team
- Coordination and alignment of developers from various locations (DE, CH, ES, India)
- Implementation of global software components considering local extensions
- Guidance of developers in the implementation and adaptation of software components
- Ensuring quality checks (code reviews, unit tests, system and integration tests)
Requirements
- Experience as a lead developer with more than 10 years of professional experience
- Experience working with international teams (DE, ES, India, CH)
- Strong "can-do attitude" and the ability to actively drive topics forward
- Backend developer experience (focus: claims file) with more than 3 years of experience
- Extensive experience as a Java developer (Java > version 12)
- Experience with OSGi / Eclipse plugins
- Experience with Spring Boot
- Experience with extensions in CISL
- Very good knowledge of Git (processes, pull requests, merges, etc.)
- Experience with JUnit tests
- Technical know-how in the area of claims is an advantage (knowledge of standardised claims processes)
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
Technical skills:
- Java (21), REST & Spring, Kafka
- Mongo DB, PostgreSQL
- Cloud knowledge (Azure & AWS)
- Agile methods and approaches
- Knowledge of Camunda is an advantage
Tools / editors:
- DBVisualizer, Eclipse / IntelliJ, Jenkins, JIRA
Start: ASAP – Q1 2027 (with option to extend)
Work location: Zurich (hybrid / remote)
