About the job
Hitachi Energy is seeking candidates to work as a part of the Global Product Group (GPG) Power Transformers. The Global Product Specialist (GPS) will work directly with the Global Product Manager (GPM) for Small and Medium Power Transformers (SMPT) and collaborate with our worldwide network of R&D centers, and local business teams to capture and translate customer requirements into improvements of existing solutions and set the directions for new product developments.
It is an opportunity for transformer engineering and R&D experts to apply their knowledge to help customers with demanding applications and be part of joint development of new solutions for the changing electrical grid. Additionally, the work will require participation in technical meetings, international standards development, and contributing and developing industry knowledge on power transformer technology.
The GPS as part of the team and in his role will be accountable to ensure competitiveness of products, strong value differentiation and technological leadership for the Small and Medium Power Transformers and their related applications with focus on customer satisfaction and profitable growth
