You will achieve the following with us- Taking over leadership in the absence of the branch manager
Supporting the branch manager in leading and motivating the team - Coordinating and monitoring daily operations
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and processes
- Supporting personnel deployment planning
- Personal advice and care for customers regarding our entire small animal range
- Receiving, checking and storing goods
- Merchandise presentation according to specifications
- Monitoring stock levels and reordering goods
- Processing payment transactions including daily closing
- Assisting with inventories
- Sales training, retail training and/or several years of experience in retail
- First leadership experience
- Ambitions to take on a branch management position later
- Experience in pet specialty retail is an advantage
- Flexible sales personality with a passion for animals
- Responsible working style as well as a neat and likeable appearance
- Team spirit and communication skills
- Organisational skills (hands-on mentality), stamina and stress resistance
