The Ilgenhalde location is one of our three institutions. It offers school, housing, and therapy for children and adolescents from 4 to 20 years old in Fehraltorf. We are looking for reinforcement starting November 1, 2025, or by arrangement.
Night watch in the child and youth area
(60% workload)
These are your tasks:
- Supplementing the night watch team in various residential groups, especially in the Therapeutic Residential School Group (TWSG)
- Taking responsibility for the well-being and safety of the entrusted children and adolescents during the night
- Empathetic support of children and adolescents with various disabilities, especially sensory impairments in the autism spectrum, according to the action plan
- Intervention in acute illnesses and escalating psychological crises as well as initiating immediate measures in emergencies with appropriate information flow to all involved.
- Ensuring the flow of information to the night watch team and the residential groups
What you bring with you:
- Professional with a degree as a social pedagogue HF/FH / psychiatric nursing specialist HF / care specialist in disability care
- Professional experience in supporting people on the autism spectrum
Observational skills and joy in accompanying children and adolescents
- Reliability, high resilience, independence, and balanced personality
