Do you want to develop mechanical components used in eye surgery? With us, you can contribute your expertise in design and create innovative solutions for surgical devices. - Analyse requirements and derive the technical specifications of mechanical components
- Create 3D models in CAD (parts/assemblies) and derive technical drawings
- Develop concepts for new assemblies
- Build functional models and prototypes of medical devices or aspects thereof
- Contribute innovative ideas to solve technical challenges
- Create and maintain (product) articles, article masters and bills of materials in the PLM system
- Support in change management
- Close collaboration within the project team and, if necessary, with other internal and external parties such as suppliers, testing laboratories, etc.
What sets you apart
- Completed training as a designer with further education as a construction technician HF, a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or comparable professional training
- Confident handling of CAD and PLM systems, ideally SolidWorks and Siemens Teamcenter
- Experience in the assembly and design of more complex assemblies
- Manual dexterity (building functional models/prototypes)
- Experience with dynamic mechanics (spring technology)
- Knowledge of various manufacturing processes
- Independent working style combined with a high quality awareness
- Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
