What you can achieve

• Analyse requirements and derive the technical specifications of mechanical components
• Create 3D models in CAD (parts/assemblies) and derive technical drawings
• Develop concepts for new assemblies
• Build functional models and prototypes of medical devices or aspects thereof
• Contribute innovative ideas to solve technical challenges 
• Create and maintain (product) articles, article masters and bills of materials in the PLM system
• Support in change management
• Close collaboration within the project team and, if necessary, with other internal and external parties such as suppliers, testing laboratories, etc.

What sets you apart

• Completed training as a designer with further education as a construction technician HF, a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or comparable professional training
• Confident handling of CAD and PLM systems, ideally SolidWorks and Siemens Teamcenter
• Experience in the assembly and design of more complex assemblies
• Manual dexterity (building functional models/prototypes)
• Experience with dynamic mechanics (spring technology)
• Knowledge of various manufacturing processes
• Independent working style combined with a high quality awareness
• Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
