The National Roads Department Area VI of the Civil Engineering Office of the Canton of St.Gallen makes a significant contribution to the safety of the national roads in the cantons of Glarus, Thurgau and St.Gallen through its maintenance work.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an

Employee for Road Maintenance Service (m/f/d)

at the Biäsche depot with immediate effect or by arrangement

Workload: 100%

Workplace: Weesen

What to expect

• Manual work in road maintenance
• Green and shrub care
• Forestry work
• Road and civil engineering work
• Operating vehicles and equipment
• On-call duties during winter service and in case of accidents

What distinguishes you

• Completed vocational training in the main construction trade, facility maintenance or forestry
• Team-oriented, independent and reliable personality
• Willingness for on-call duty and night work
• Enjoyment of all tasks related to road maintenance and winter service
• Driving licence category CE or willingness to obtain it
• Ability to reach the depot within 20 minutes
