Nursing Assistant on a 100% Fixed-Term Contract
Key information about the position:
Reference: CLS/RH/2025.709 / Contract type: 100% Fixed-Term Contract / Hours: mostly 12-hour shifts / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")
Why do we need you?
This recruitment is part of a replacement within the nursing team to ensure continuity and quality of care for our patients. We are looking for someone available until May 31, 2026.
What will you be expected to do?
- Welcome hospitalized patients
- Provide nursing support to dependent patients in a 12-bed unit
- Assist the hotel and care team with meal distribution and transporters for stretcher handling
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure optimal patient care and guarantee the transmission of information to different team members
- Participate in the unit's logistics circuit (ordering, supply, and storage)
- Strictly apply hospital hygiene and asepsis rules
Who will you work with?
The team consists of 30 collaborators (nurses, ASSC, and nursing assistants). Our team is positive, dynamic, and works in solidarity to provide the best care for our hospitalized patients together.In this position, you will report to Sarah Savary (ICUS) and Pauline Stival (Deputy ICUS), Heads of the Care Unit. With over 12 years of experience in acute care, including 7 years at La Source Clinic, the ICUS contribute to the development of each team member's skills while maintaining a climate of trust and kindness.Essentials:
- You hold a health auxiliary diploma or equivalent (nursing assistant)
- You have excellent organizational skills and demonstrate flexibility and autonomy
- Empathetic and attentive, you have strong interpersonal skills and know how to put patients and their families at ease
- You have a strong sense of responsibility and can calmly handle difficult or crisis situations

- You possess interpersonal qualities and an interest in supporting vulnerable patients at all stages of their illness
- You show initiative and wish to develop your skills in the acute care environment
