Job description
- Contribute to maintaining and developing the quality of life of Seniors by carrying out support, animation and leisure activities adapted to the needs and abilities of each individual;
- Actively participate in maintaining social ties, autonomy and capacities of the Seniors welcomed;
- Ensure the care of Seniors by supervising delegated care actions and collaborating with the attending physician as well as partners in the Geneva network;
- Define, within the multidisciplinary team, the individualised support objectives for Seniors and ensure their follow-up;
- Provide cover for the day centre manager for coordinating daily activities and managing urgent situations during their absences;
- Participate in the smooth logistical operation of the centre, hospitality services and daily housekeeping;
- Maintain a trusting relationship with close caregivers and promote smooth communication with various partners;
- Be proactive in developing activities, projects and actions promoting the well-being of Seniors
Profile sought
- General nursing diploma HES or equivalent qualification, with valid practice rights in the canton of Geneva
- Minimum 5 years professional experience, ideally in a day centre, home care, elderly care, or medico-social establishment;
- Fluency in spoken and written French;
- Proficiency in common computer tools;
- Leadership skills in supporting activities and covering for the centre manager;
- Sense of responsibility, professional ethics and confidentiality;
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to manage priorities and unforeseen events;
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine team spirit and interdisciplinary collaboration;
- Creativity, adaptability and interest in animation and daily support of Seniors;
- Ability to face unforeseen events calmly, with discernment and adaptability;
- Strong interest in a global, human and individualised approach to supporting Seniors
