Your Tasks
Collaboration in projects and working groups: You take on a coordinating role in the professional development of the KJD and work closely with the teams. You bear overall responsibility for internal projects and cooperate closely with the respective specialist partners.
Quality and process management: You analyse and design work processes using quality management and IT systems. You are responsible for developing, documenting and communicating requirements, concepts and uniform quality standards.
Monitoring, reporting and data management: You provide the data required for the preparation of planning and accountability reports on the areas of responsibility of the KJD.
Your Profile
Experience: Ideally, you have experience in child and youth welfare as well as practical knowledge in project management. In addition, you are characterised by good IT skills, a strong affinity for numbers and proficient use of Excel.
Personality: You think analytically and in a networked way and are used to working conceptually. You also demonstrate a high service orientation and work efficiently and independently.
Education: You hold a Master’s degree in Social Work or a completed university degree in Social Sciences.
Language: You have very good editorial and communication skills and communicate appropriately for the target audience.

The Youth, Family and Sport division of the Department of Education Basel-Stadt covers a wide range of topics around childcare, child and youth welfare, early support and sport. It informs and supports children, young people and those involved in upbringing and advocates for high-quality public and private services. The promotion of grassroots sport and exercise, both in clubs and privately, is also a central task. These activities directly benefit many people in Basel: from children to parents to sports enthusiasts.
