A Medical Secretary for the Dental Medicine Department
The Lausanne University Hospital Centre (CHUV) is seeking a Medical Secretary for the Dental Medicine Department at a workload between 80% and 100%, to strengthen its team. The starting date is scheduled for 1 August 2026 or as agreed.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital Centre (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, the CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The dental medicine department specialises in the treatment of diseases of the mouth and teeth, for adults and children. It has 10 surgeries to welcome you. It offers the same services as city practices at the same rates.
It provides the full range of dental care services (treatment of cavities, root treatments, dental hygiene, prosthetics, implants, aesthetic care, etc.).
Mission
- You ensure tasks related to the administrative management of patients
- You manage the scheduling of operations in the operating theatres for oral and maxillofacial surgeons
- You organise the scheduling of dental procedures under general anaesthesia
- You prepare and manage quotes in collaboration with the dentists.
Profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a dental assistant
- You have 6 years of professional experience in a similar role
- You are familiar with Medident and Zawin
- You know the dental tariff, Dentotar, Tarmed
- You have a very good command of common IT tools, especially Microsoft Office
- You master French both orally and in writing
- You are organised and dynamic and demonstrate autonomy in your work
- You show adaptability, open-mindedness, flexibility, and motivation
- You have a strong team spirit and a developed sense of service
- You know the CHUV IT applications, which is an asset.
