The Zurich Transport Network ZVV is the largest transport network in Switzerland. It is a pioneer in the canton of Zurich for environmentally friendly and future-oriented mobility for all. Together with the transport companies, we work on network-wide mobility offers for train, tram, bus, and ship, thus visibly increasing the attractiveness of public transport. As part of the regular succession planning, we are looking for a new executive board member for the Market division from June 2026 or by agreement. Together with your strong team of specialists, you are particularly responsible for tariff design and sales as well as quality control, market communication, and controlling.

Head of Market (80 - 100%)
Your interesting area of responsibility:
- You lead the Market division strategically and operationally and position the ZVV as an innovative pioneer of connected public mobility. Your activities are based on the current ZVV strategy and focus on customer satisfaction, increased usage, profitability, safety, and sustainability.
- You represent the ZVV with a view to the entire public transport in regional and national expert groups, take a seat in committees of Alliance SwissPass, represent the organization before political bodies, and maintain an open dialogue with various stakeholders.
- You promote cross-departmental collaboration and inspire your teams to further develop user-friendly digital offers and processes, taking into account the cost-benefit ratio.
- You motivate your teams to stay in tune with the market, recognize trends and market potentials early, create meaningful data and market analyses, and derive fields of action from them.
- You continuously develop measurement tools and performance indicators for quality control and safety with your teams, thus contributing to the attractiveness of public transport.
You bring with you:
- You have a strong track record and several years of leadership experience in system-relevant companies, preferably in the mobility sector. In addition, you are proficient in business administration, digitalization, sales, and marketing.
- You are a confident personality with a well-developed political sense and a natural sensorium for goal-oriented stakeholder management. Your qualities as a bridge-building communicator and negotiation partner at eye level distinguish you. A healthy dose of assertiveness is part of it.
- You are curious, have a high customer orientation, recognize social trends early, and can translate them into attractive and useful offers and services.
- You have a positive charisma, integrate seamlessly into a well-coordinated team, maintain knowledge and information exchange, empower and inspire employees as a leader, and take them along on the journey.
