Business Controller & Analyst

Your team

Pictet Asset Services (PAS) provides custody, fund services and trading solutions for external asset managers, fund managers and institutional clients. We manage every aspect of the asset servicing value chain and our range of bespoke solutions include value-adding analytics, trading strategy support and digital front-end interfaces designed to provide an unrivalled customer experience.

The Finance team monitors the business line's financials and liaises with Pictet Group's Finance functions. In this context, the Business Controller & Analyst's mission is to develop and produce financial reports and conduct detailed analyses on business issues (profitability, market segmentation, etc.).

Your role

- Analyze market, product and client financials to provide strategic insights to Relationship Managers and Business Developers in order to provide them insight on commercial dynamics and opportunities to improve book profitability.
- Analyze the business line’s cost base and liaise with management accounting and business stakeholders to explain and validate cost drivers.
- Prepare and present various analyses to the business lines’ Executive Committee.
- Act as a point of contact for any ad hoc requests coming from the different markets.
- Produce monthly, quarterly & annual financial figures of PAS markets & products for the business leaders & Group management.
- Develop and maintain inhouse reporting tools (Avaloq BO, Tableau) and participate in projects with other Finance teams across the group.

Your profile

- Masters degree in business or finance 
- 3 years’ experience within a Finance role, ideally in a banking environment
- Excellent analytical skills; ability to make the complex simple and communicate it effectively 
- Understanding of the dynamics of the asset servicing industry is a plus
- Mastery of presentation (PowerPoint) and analytical tools (Excel, Tableau, SAP)
- Proactive and able to work autonomously 
- Fluent in English and French
- Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate
