We are looking for a part-time lecturer in the Prorectorate for Continuing Education and Services in the field of Applied Psychology starting immediately or by agreement for the following modules:
- Conflict Management and Mediation
- Positive Psychology & Positive Coaching
You are responsible for the following main tasks:
- Content development of the module at university of applied sciences level (including preparation and teaching materials)
- Professional representation of the modules in continuing education
- Taking on general teaching duties as well as supervising students (transfer papers, case studies, coaching, project supervision, etc.)
- Creation and correction of performance records and exams
- Supervision of master theses if interested
Teaching times:
- The modules usually take place on Friday and Saturday (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.).
- The teaching load is a small workload of initially 16-40 lessons per year
You bring the following:
- Completed psychology degree (at least Master or Licentiate, PhD advantageous)
- Current activity in psychological practice (field of activity must correspond to the teaching module)
- Didactic training/continuing education and/or teaching experience at university level is an advantage
- Ideally, you can also incorporate your own research results/publications into the teaching
- Show high self-responsibility for your own teaching activities
- Enjoy imparting knowledge and have an interest in further developing the curriculum
- Bring a positive and appreciative attitude and manage to inspire students for your subject, among other things, through your numerous practical examples
- Value theory-practice transfer and high-quality education
- Build on knowledge from your professional experience and are also familiar with scientific standards and methods.
