Part-time Lecturer in Applied Psychology 10-20%

We are looking for a part-time lecturer in the Prorectorate for Continuing Education and Services in the field of Applied Psychology starting immediately or by agreement for the following modules:

• Conflict Management and Mediation
• Positive Psychology & Positive Coaching

• Content development of the module at university of applied sciences level (including preparation and teaching materials)
• Professional representation of the modules in continuing education
• Taking on general teaching duties as well as supervising students (transfer papers, case studies, coaching, project supervision, etc.)
• Creation and correction of performance records and exams
• Supervision of master theses if interested

Teaching times:

• The modules usually take place on Friday and Saturday (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.).
• The teaching load is a small workload of initially 16-40 lessons per year

• Completed psychology degree (at least Master or Licentiate, PhD advantageous)
• Current activity in psychological practice (field of activity must correspond to the teaching module)
• Didactic training/continuing education and/or teaching experience at university level is an advantage
• Ideally, you can also incorporate your own research results/publications into the teaching
• Show high self-responsibility for your own teaching activities
• Enjoy imparting knowledge and have an interest in further developing the curriculum
• Bring a positive and appreciative attitude and manage to inspire students for your subject, among other things, through your numerous practical examples
• Value theory-practice transfer and high-quality education
• Build on knowledge from your professional experience and are also familiar with scientific standards and methods.
