Maintenance Technician

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintenance of production equipment

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment
• Carry out repairs and troubleshooting
• Analyse faults and identify root causes
• Perform mechanical overhaul work
• Support equipment optimisations
• Ensure high equipment availability

CNC machines

• Measurement and geometric inspection of CNC systems
• Alignment and correction of machine axes
• Replacement and overhaul of working spindles and milling spindles
• Support during machine acceptance and commissioning
• Control and ensure machine precision

Special equipment

• Maintenance and repair of laser marking systems
• Support with maintenance and servicing of Dürr systems
• Supervision of technical special equipment within production

Facility maintenance

• Maintenance and inspection of compressor systems
• Maintenance of ventilation and extraction systems
• Support with sprinkler maintenance
• General technical maintenance work on infrastructure

Projects and machine relocations

• Support with machine relocations
• Mechanical dismantling and assembly of production equipment
• Participation in new installations
• Support during commissioning of new equipment

Administrative tasks

• Documentation of maintenance and repairs
• Preparation of technical reports
• Support with spare parts and material orders
• Collaboration with external service providers and suppliers

YOU WILL REPORT TO:

Maintenance & Facility Supervisor

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

• Completed technical vocational training, for example as:
  • Polymechanic EFZ
  • Production mechanic EFZ
  • Industrial mechanic
  • Agricultural machinery mechanic
  • Toolmaker
  • or comparable mechanical basic training

Professional experience

• Several years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Experience with production and automated equipment
• Experience with CNC machines is an advantage
• Experience in fault analysis and repairs

Technical knowledge

• Very good mechanical knowledge
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering is an advantage
• Experience with preventive maintenance
• Confident handling of technical drawings
• Experience with measuring instruments and precision work
• Experience with machine alignment is an advantage

• Thinks analytically and solves problems systematically
• Remains calm and structured even under time pressure
• Is a team player and collaborates across departments
• Can respond flexibly to different technical challenges
• Adheres to high quality and safety standards
