All 44 notaries in the canton are also land registry and insolvency offices and are organizationally part of Zurich's judicial system. The trend of increasing insolvency numbers in recent years continues in 2026 and will persist.
For a start in April 2026, we are therefore looking for 15 dedicated and motivated individuals to strengthen our team. You will first go through a structured training program and then be deployed in a notary / insolvency office in the canton of Zurich.

Your area of responsibility
- Independent handling of assigned insolvency cases – from file management to decisions. Research and clarification work according to clear procedures and checklists.
- On-site assignments in the canton of Zurich to secure assets and conduct hearings.
- Preparation of inventories and preparation of applications to courts.
- Communication and support of various stakeholders, minute-taking as well as deadline monitoring – supported by modern infrastructure and software (eXpert).
What you bring
- Commercial or business administration education/training (e.g., EFZ, commercial school, business diploma)
- Knowledge of debt enforcement and bankruptcy law (SchKG) or experience in debt collection, finance/accounting is a plus – career changers welcome!
- You like to make decisions and keep a cool head even in difficult conversations.
- Ideally, you are over 25 years old, with corresponding professional and life experience.
- Very good German skills, confident in spoken and written language.
- Impeccable reputation, no entries in debt enforcement or criminal records.
