Property Assistant, Caretaker
Together with your four colleagues, you ensure the smooth operation of the buildings and facilities at the Waltersbach site and surrounding areas in the city of Zurich. Your good manners and service orientation are demonstrated daily to our user organisations such as the Veterinary Office, Office for IT, and other departments.
Your tasks
- Coordinate, monitor, plan and carry out caretaking work as well as supervise external service and cleaning companies
- Maintain and repair building technical systems in accordance with legal requirements and guidelines
- Contact person for users, suppliers and craftsmen
- Independently manage small projects, such as replacing floor coverings or painting walls
- Complete the necessary administrative tasks such as creating protocols and documentation
- On-call duty across teams in the Zurich area
Your profile
- Technical basic training with a Federal VET Diploma as well as the federal specialist certificate for caretakers or maintenance specialists, or willingness to obtain one of these certificates as soon as possible
- Willingness to act in technical interventions
- Basic knowledge of building and occupational safety
- Initiative, networked thinking as well as independent, reliable and solution-oriented working style
- Proficiency in German, both spoken and written
- Good PC user skills (Office 365)
- Driving licence category B and residence in the Zurich area (relevant for on-call duty)
