Educate – Move – Care. With its range of topics, the Department of School and Sports is at the heart of the city of Winterthur and in tune with the social pulse of the times. The School Buildings Department is the hub between the needs of the school, around 180 buildings owned by the department as well as rental properties, and the executing specialist bodies. The department's field of activity ranges from strategic planning to property management in owner representation. The exciting position as Project Manager Owner Representation with a focus on projects for energy refurbishment / HVAC / strategic planning of heating replacement is to be filled from March 1, 2026, or by agreement, limited to 12 months, with the possibility of extension, and includes the following main activities:Your Tasks
- Project management in the role of owner representative for renovation projects as well as larger maintenance projects
- Close cooperation and communication with the municipal client representation (Office for Urban Development and City Greenery) as well as with users and stakeholders
- Project management of municipal and non-municipal tenant fit-outs without client representation
- Preparation and coordination of city council proposals for studies, project planning, and execution credits
- Support of feasibility studies and planner selection procedures
- Support of the self-organized department
Your Profile
- Professional in construction with education at FH/University or HF level with corresponding professional experience/continuing education in engineering, building technology, or construction/property management
- Professional experience in handling complex construction projects and in owner representation
- Experience in property management is an advantage
- High communication skills
- Independence, communication skills, initiative, problem-solving ability, and precise working method
- Solid MS Office skills
