About the job
The Zug Cantonal Hospital is dedicated to the health of the population of the Canton of Zug and the surrounding regions. Around 1200 employees, including 180 in training and further education, work in various areas. Every year, we treat and care for over 11,500 inpatients and more than 70,000 outpatients. More than 27,500 people are treated annually in the interdisciplinary emergency centre.In our kitchen, approximately 1,200 fresh and balanced meals, as well as menus tailored to special diets, are produced daily.
To strengthen our kitchen team, we are looking for a Cook 80 - 100% (m/f) starting 1 November 2026 or by arrangement.
Your Tasks
- Planning, organising and preparing meals in compliance with the in-house guidelines at your station
- Creative contribution to the menu offerings
- Adherence to regulations regarding hygiene, quality and occupational safety
Your Profile
- Completed training as a cook with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) with at least 2 years of professional experience
- Very good knowledge of German
- Responsible, reliable and quality-conscious personality with team spirit
- Willingness to work on average two weekends per month (weekend allowances)
