Business Management Specialist

Are you looking for a role where you can shape financial steering, enhance operational excellence, and strengthen the strategic backbone of a business area? As a Business Management Specialist within Real Estate Management (REM), you will contribute directly to strengthening transparency, governance, and efficiency across core financial and operational processes.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Business Management REM, partner with cross functional teams, and act as an interface to stakeholders in Switzerland and Spain. You will support REM in operating cost effective, compliant, and data driven — making a tangible impact on financial performance and process quality.
What You Will Do
- Lead the financial and operational governance of REM’s procurement, cost management, and documentation processes
- Provide management relevant financial analyses, performance reports, and KPI dashboards to support strategic and operational decision making
- Initiate and lead business process engineering projects to increase efficiency and effectiveness of our organization
- Develop and maintain the REM process architecture, focusing on harmonization, financial integrity, and digital automation
- Drive financial planning activities (budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting) and prepare business cases, investment evaluations, and decision papers; act as Business Management contact for REM Spain while collaborating closely with teams in Switzerland
- Ensure compliant invoicing, audit ready documentation, and strong financial governance across all REM business processes
What You Bring
- A university in economics, Business Administration or a related field
- Strong experience in financial or business process management, ideally across procurement, finance, and documentation workflows
- A data‑driven mindset with the ability to translate complex information into meaningful analyses, reports and KPIs for senior management
- Proven track record in process optimization, digitalization initiatives and cross‑functional collaboration in an international environment (incl. Switzerland and Spain)
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with fluent German; English; Spanish or other languages are a plus
