The Paul Scherrer Institute PSI is the largest research institute for natural and engineering sciences in Switzerland. For our Engineering and Technical Support group, we are looking for a
Your tasks
- Setup, operation, and maintenance of electrochemical systems and test stands
- Planning, execution, and documentation of measurements and experiments
- Support in industrial and research projects
- Organisation, evaluation, and interpretation of test results
- Participation in the continuous improvement of workflows and processes
- Collaboration with engineers, students, scientists, and technical departments
Your profile
- Completed training as a Physics Laboratory Technician EFZ or comparable technical education
- Technical understanding and enthusiasm for practical laboratory work
- Hands-on mentality as well as independent, structured, and careful working style
- Teamwork skills and high safety awareness
- Good German and English skills
- Experience with electrochemical systems, e.g. fuel cell or electrolyser test stands
- Experience in electrical measurement technology
- Basic knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics, or similar technical systems
- Programming experience, e.g. with LabVIEW, Python, or PLC controls
