The Competence Area Children and Youth of the Department of Society initiates and implements measures, offers and projects to promote children and youth.

Your tasks

• Operational management of children’s animation (attendance, project work, deployment planning, professional guidance, offer development, networking)
• Operational co-management of the youth parliament (planning, coordination, networking, project work)
• Coordination and co-design in building structures to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in municipal children and youth promotion
• Supporting young people in implementing their ideas and concerns
• Planning and implementing participatory projects and events

Your profile

• Degree from a university of applied sciences in social work or equivalent training in a related professional field
• Professional experience with children and young people, preferably in children and youth promotion
• Experience in participatory project work
• Strong communication skills, good presentation skills and a pronounced awareness of role
• Ability to plan and implement independently, responsibly and conscientiously
• Fluent German in spoken and written form
• Willingness to work regular evenings and weekends
