The Hospital Network Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the acute hospital Herisau and the Psychiatric Centre AR in Herisau ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.
We are looking for
In the Directorate Department under the leadership of Ms Conny Brunschwiler, Assistant CEO / Head of Executive Staff, we are looking for an Administrative Employee Executive Staff (m/f/d) to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- Central administrative and coordinative support in the executive staff and to relieve the Assistant CEO / Head of Executive Staff by handling daily tasks.
- Appointment organisation and coordination for the executive staff and the CEO.
- Participation in careful, orderly and high-quality administration as well as ensuring the flow of information within the executive staff, the directorate and other involved areas in cross-functional activities.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating contracts in the digital IQSoft contract management in cooperation with the relevant specialist departments / further development of contract management.
- Responsible for organising an annual staff event.
- Assisting in the follow-up of decisions, pending matters, orders and deadlines as well as in the preparation of decision-making bases, reports and presentations under guidance.
- Administrative handling of claims in the area of property insurance, company vehicle damage, building insurance, etc.
- Processing other assigned tasks in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment with numerous ad-hoc requirements and interfaces.
- Deputising during multi-day absences of the Assistant CEO / Head of Executive Staff including holiday cover (willingness to work 80 - 100% during this time).
Your profile
- Several years of professional experience in a similar position desirable, preferably in healthcare.
- High commitment and loyalty to the employer.
- You are comfortable in a very lively, dynamic and rapidly changing environment with many ad-hoc requirements and interfaces.
- You are an upbeat, reliable, service-oriented and collegial personality and convince with your precise, independent way of working, even under time pressure.
- You pitch in where necessary and work solution-oriented and quality-conscious, pragmatic and ready to work, showing initiative (hands-on mentality).
- You have a quick grasp, recognise complex contexts and prioritise your area of responsibility.
- Professional handling with discretion at the highest level.
