As an initiative, open-minded, and resilient personality, you easily succeed in building good relationships with children and young people and advising and supporting them in various matters. You are familiar with collaborating with parents, school administrations, teachers, and specialist offices. Appreciative, transparent, system- and solution-oriented communication is important to you. You hold a diploma from a higher technical school or university of applied sciences in social pedagogy and have especially gained experience in schools and particularly with children and young people with behavioral issues? Then we look forward to getting to know you!
Your new task
The municipal PeP program supports and relieves the Wetzikon School in dealing with students with behavioral issues. Thanks to PeP, these students can remain in a regular class or be reintegrated into a regular class. PeP advises teachers at all school levels in a low-threshold manner regarding emerging difficulties in everyday school life and encourages them to act before the situation becomes unbearable for all involved. PeP has a de-escalating effect and ensures breaks as relief and relaxation for everyone. PeP helps to identify new perspectives for reintegration into a class and guarantees follow-up care for all involved, thus contributing to the sustainability of the solutions developed. You will often be on the move in the various schools of the city of Wetzikon.
You will receive
An exciting and varied task with a wide scope of action awaits you. You will work interdisciplinarily and closely with a teacher in an unconventional classroom at the Guldisloo school building and will be employed municipally.
