You work 100% in Zug

• You take on the technical responsibility for all automation components of our production facilities – from PLC, HMI and drives to safety and network systems. You define and maintain standards for software, hardware and documentation and evaluate new technologies as well as spare part solutions to ensure long-term availability and benefit
• You actively drive the future viability of our plant and machinery: You build the data structure for predictive maintenance (I4.0), connect machine data from PLC systems to higher-level IoT platforms and take over the complete software and network administration of the machinery – with the aim of turning data into real operational benefit
• You independently lead automation projects or subprojects: You get involved in technical implementations yourself, coordinate internal and external participants and ensure that a clean, practical solution is in place at the end – with regard to safety, quality and environmental requirements
• You actively contribute to reducing unplanned downtimes and increasing plant availability. You coordinate external service providers professionally, accompany technical acceptances and apply your expertise in critical malfunctions to ensure that operations can be restored quickly and stably. In addition, you further develop our Maintmaster software in close cooperation with the team leader Electronic Maintenance

• You have completed a technical basic training in automation, electrical engineering or mechatronics and have several years of experience in industrial automation – ideally from a production or maintenance environment. Further training at HF level in automation, systems engineering or electrical engineering is a plus
• You have very good knowledge of PLC, HMI, drive technology, industrial networks and functional safety
• You analyse technical problems with enthusiasm and meticulousness: You get to the root of causes, weigh up solution options soberly and implement the result so that it really works in everyday life – pragmatically, but without compromising on quality
• You work independently, in a structured and reliable manner. You recognise what needs to be done, prioritise responsibly and do not lose track even in complex situations with multiple parallel demands
• You communicate clearly and directly – with colleagues on the shop floor as well as with adjacent departments, project teams and external partners. You have the necessary sensitivity to explain technical matters understandably and to bring different participants to a common denominator
• Safety, quality and clean standards are not just checkboxes for you, but an attitude – you live them in your daily work and contribute to ensuring they are lived throughout the maintenance environment
