About the job
The position, under the direction of the head of stewardship and the steward:
- Maintain infrastructures, outdoor areas, and green spaces.
- Maintain the various technical installations of the buildings.
- Ensure the good condition and proper functioning of indoor and outdoor maintenance equipment.
- Ensure the maintenance and proper functioning of the Foundation's vehicles.
- Vehicle transport of lunch meal carts to the Mont-sur-Lausanne site (Day Care Center).
- Ensure snow removal at the Cugy site and institutional vehicles during the winter period, including weekends if necessary.
- By delegation, intervene in case of possible breakdowns, especially regarding heating, including evenings and weekends if necessary (on-call service).
- Check the proper storage of laundry bag carts sent for washing (external service provider).
- Manage the internal waste disposal point.
- Participate in logistical tasks related to the institution's events (installations, setups, teardowns, parking, etc.).
- According to needs and seasonally, perform kitchen assistance tasks.
- According to internal needs, ensure the transport of beneficiaries with their companions.
The Profile:
- At most holding an AFP diploma as an operations employee.
- Possession of at least a category D1 driving license (essential).
- Excellent physical condition, interest, and motivation for outdoor work.
- Good versatility, allowing notably the use and maintenance of mechanical tools (e.g., garden machines).
- Reliable, dynamic, able to work both in a team and independently, capable of taking targeted initiatives in activities of different and varied natures.
- Good stress and unexpected event management.
- Interest in integrating and getting involved in the context of a socio-educational institution, regularly being in contact with beneficiaries and their families. Previous experience in a similar field would be a plus.
- Good command of the French language.
