The Real Estate Office is the owner representative for the approximately 2,100 buildings of the Canton of Zurich. Our approximately 70 employees in the Facility Services department manage over 120 buildings of the central and district administration with a total area of 444,000m2.
For the properties in Region 2 (outside the city of Zurich), we are looking for a team-oriented personality who ensures smooth operations together with the property managers.

Your tasks
- Substitute for property managers during absences (vacation, illness, etc.)
- Coordinate, monitor, plan, and execute caretaker tasks as well as oversee external service and cleaning companies
- Maintenance and repair of buildings and technical systems
- Contact person for administrative staff, suppliers, and craftsmen
- Monitoring of safety equipment in the building and the associated legal requirements and guidelines
- Completing administrative tasks as they arise
- On-call duty
You bring
- Several years of experience in caretaking and property management
- Technical basic training with EFZ as well as further training as a caretaker with federal certificate or maintenance specialist with federal certificate or the intention to obtain one of the two certificates as soon as possible
- Willingness to act in technical interventions
- Networked thinking - along with an independent, reliable, and solution-oriented working style
- Initiative, service orientation, and good manners
- Proficiency in the German language, both spoken and written
- Good PC user skills (Office 365)
- Driver's license category B
