We are looking for committed and qualified employees for our shopfloor in various areas within the Piece Part Repair department at Zurich Airport. If you feel addressed by this challenge, we look forward to your application as a CNC Polymechanic.
As a CNC Polymechanic, you will take on the following tasks
- Mechanical processing of engine and aircraft components according to manufacturer and engineering documentation
- Documentation of the work performed as well as ensuring quality through independent inspections
- Application of Lean Six Sigma methods (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis) to improve processes and increase safety
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational requirements
- Precise and independent work with machine tools and precision measuring instruments
- Confident reading and interpretation of blueprints and technical drawings
Your profile
- Completed apprenticeship as a Polymechanic EFZ specialising in manufacturing
- Experience as a CNC operator with knowledge of control programming
- Proficient handling of machine tools and precision measuring instruments
- Responsible, reliable, and quality-oriented working style
- Independent working style with high precision and strong sense of responsibility
- Strong awareness of safety, quality, performance, and costs
- Good German and English skills at least at level B2
- Willingness to work in a two-shift system
